Centro Latino de Chelsea is merging with another well-known Latino community service organization, Concilio Hispano, based in Cambridge. Centro Latino de Chelsea launches its first ever advertising campaign featuring interior car ads on the MBTA’s Blue line trains, which will be displayed during four weeks in November. Centro Latino is on the air! Today Centro launched a new weekly radio show on AM station WESX 1230. The Spanish language broadcast spotlights community programs, provides public information and interviews community leaders.

Centro Latino’s 2nd Annual Dance & Silent Auction will take place on Friday, May 12 under the Pavilion at the Hyatt Harborside Hotel at Logan Airport from 7:00 to midnight. Festivities will include food, music, dancing and a silent auction. All proceeds will support the work of Centro Latino de Chelsea: helping Latino and immigrant families to improve their lives and increase their self-determination through training, education and support.
